Do Not Fear!

(Isaiah 41:10-14) “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.  “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.  Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them.  Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.  For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.  Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I Myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.”

You may be experiencing a mountain of problems the size of Mt. Rushmore coming at you right now but fear not, we serve a mighty God!  He is Elohim which means, “Creator; Powerful God!”  Don’t forget who He is; God Almighty Creator of heaven and earth and our Deliverer, Helper, Healer and Savior!  You may not have the resources, the ability or even the slightest clue as to how to solve the problem but fear not!  God does!  God is “faithful to all of His promises;” that is His word and (Psalm 138:2) “I bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness, for You have exalted above all things Your name and Your Word.”  When the bill collectors come calling through threatening letters giving you a deadline and the car breaks down or you lose your job, these are just scare tactics from the enemy.  They are meant to get you to give in to fear and give him an entrance into your heart to create a stronghold.  Remember that there is no other god, but our God and He is also your Father who loves you and will not let you fall.  Listen to Him as He speaks to your heart.  Ask for discernment, He may want you to wait on Him to move or He may want you to take action.  Wait for His leading, you will know by the Holy Spirit within you which way to go if you are closely listening to Him.  Don’t get impatient but wait on His guiding and He will lead you.  (Proverbs 4:11) “I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.”

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are My witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me.”

Peter walked on water and it was only when he looked at his situation did he start to sink; in doing that he took his eyes off of Jesus making the situation bigger and more important.  Keep your eyes on Jesus.   (Hebrews 12:2) “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Fear not and keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus by trusting in Him, reading His Word and speaking it so your ears will hear and in so doing will penetrate into your heart increasing your faith.  (Romans 10:17) “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

Through constant faith and patience God will help you and deliver you.  You may not have the answers to your problems, but God does!  Go to Him in prayer and cast them into His capable and loving hands and then leave them there!  He will come to your rescue!

(Psalm 55:22) “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”
