Your Palace Awaits!

(Daniel 3:28-30) “Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.  Therefore, I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.”  Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.”

The enemy sees your devotion and he knows the times.  He knew the Messiah was coming and tried to prevent it by having all newborn Jewish boys killed through king Herod.  But God! God’s plans cannot be thwarted!  (Job 42:2) “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”

Do not get discouraged!  You have probably been going through a rough trial, and one that has lasted a very long time and you are weary.  Don’t give up now!  Or it will have been all for nothing!  The enemy knows when you are about to get a breakthrough and wants to deter you and make you give up.  Do not fall for it!  Breakthrough awaits!

You must get stubborn and trust God no matter what!  (Isaiah 7:9) “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”  Isn’t the painful death that Jesus went through proof enough to trust Him?  Even though you may not see a way out, trust Him anyway.  (Proverbs 3:5-6) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

The only way to get stubborn and stay in faith in a very dark and turbulent trial is to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.  (Hebrews 12:1-2) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with endurance the race set out for us.  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”  When you take your eyes off of Jesus, and look into the storm, you make it bigger than Jesus!  This is what Peter did as he walked on water when out on the lake and Jesus came to them in the middle of the night, (in the middle of your dark time, Jesus is with you), Jesus came walking on the water and Peter was the only one to get out of the boat!  As long as he fixed his eyes on Jesus, he walked on water but as soon as he began to look at the surroundings, he started to sink.  As long as you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, you will make it through in victory.

This is why staying in the Word is so important, it is our weapon. (Hebrews 4:12) “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”    The Holy Spirit will bring to your remembrance the scripture you need right when you need it!  (John 14:26) “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

In the book of Daniel, three men went into the fire, but four were there, Jesus.  He will never leave you nor forsake you and will see you through.  (Daniel 3:24-25) “Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”  They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”  He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

Jesus will be with you, He will see you all the way through your trial and bring you out in victory and promote you to the palace!  Trust Him!

(Psalm 60:12) “With God we will gain the victory, and He will trample down our enemies.”
