Don’t Settle for the Desert When a Palace Awaits You!

(Psalm 55:5-7) “Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me.I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!  I would fly away and be at rest.  I would flee far away and stay in the desert.”

Fear will cause you to settle for the desert; for less than what God has for you.  Over and over in the Bible He says, “Fear not.”  It is a warning to stay in faith and you will be delivered and your prayers answered.  Do not be moved by the appearance of your situation because it can change in an instant! (II Corinthians 4:18) “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”  The Israelites gave in to their emotions too many times and it caused them to wander in the desert for forty years!  What should have been an eleven day journey took forty years due to their lack of faith!  Do not make that same mistake!  God says that He will deliver, provide and heal!  Trust Him to do it and in His way and His time!  For He knows best!  (Exodus 14:13-14) “Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

The battles we have will be fought and won by the Lord.  He will show you the way, give you whatever wisdom you need to make right choices and will never leave you helpless.  If you are not hearing anything, then He wants you to be still, “Be still and know that I am God.”  Be still and wait on Him and when He wants to speak and give you direction, He will make it clear to you.  God is not the author of confusion or fear!  (II Timothy 1:7) “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Trust Him and at the right time everything will come into place and your prayers answered; victory yours!

(I Samuel 17:47) “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give all of you into our hands.”

God has palace for you, not a desert tent!  Do not settle due to fear!

(Ephesians 3:20-21) “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
